Cancellation, Returns and Refunds :
Every customer is expected to keep up appointments with medical professionals as their time is considered precious. However, in case of some unavoidable circumstances the appointments have to be cancelled, then,
- If the cancellation is before twenty four (24) hours of the scheduled appointment, the customer has to pay Rs 100 as cancellation fees.
- If the cancellation is within four (4) hours, the customer shall lose 50% of the fees paid at the time of seeking the appointment.
- If for some reason, it is not possible to cancel the appointment, and the customer does not turn-up for it, he loses whatever fees he has paid for fixing up the appointment.
- In the event of the customer seeking rescheduling of the appointment twenty four(24) hours before the scheduled time, the appointment can be rescheduled without any additional fees.
- If the rescheduling is asked within four (4) hours, then, the customer shall have to pay an additional fee of Rs 150/- for rescheduling. The refund, wherever is applicable, shall be made within 5 to 7 working days.
Similarly, every customer is expected to keep up appointments with diagnostic centres or laboratories. However, in case of some unavoidable circumstances the appointments have to be cancelled, such cancellation has to be done at least one hour before the scheduled time. If for some reason it is not possible to cancel the the appointment and the laboratory’s technician turn up at the residence or office or such other agreed place of the customer to collect samples or carry out tests, then, the customer will not be subjected to tests etc against his will but whatever fees he has paid gets forfeited.
Similarly once orders are placed for medicines, the customers are expected to honour their orders. In any event, orders placed cannot be cancelled once the pharmacy accepts the order for delivery
Medicines and other medical goods can be returned only if they are not what have been prescribed or are not exact substitutes for the prescribed ones. However, those that have to be returned must be returned within twenty four (24) hours without tampering with the primary packaging in which they are packed by their manufacturers.
Wherever cancellations and returns are accepted, the amounts paid, if any, shall be returned within 5-7 working days to the same source from which the amounts were paid or in the alternative, credits shall be accorded which can be used by the customer for future appointments or orders.
